The first release from Dislodgement on Starker Klang. A very talented multi-instrumentalist, James Rhodes creates layered pieces of guitar rock n' roll with chaotic feedback and instrument destruction. As the EP goes along the pieces become more minimal and avant-garde in nature. The first track "Complexity" has very obvious rock influences where on the other hand "The Apple" consists simply of a bongo drum and a recurring pattern. The EP is definitely worth your time weather you're into noise rock or straight up noise.
