TO THE PREVIOUS REVIEWER
I don't think I can give you any verification on the music's copyright status, but the fact that this item has been here for ten years might at least be a clue. Sorry if I can't be more help to you. In the future if you have more questions about this or other items by me or other contributors, post them on the Feature Films Forum and write the user's screen name in the subject bar. I check the Forum often and if I see your post, I'll respond.

Verifying Free Usage for Music
Guyzilla,
I'm not sure how to directly message users, so I'll just leave a review.
I'm currently completing an album and I used audio clips from a few of your drive videos. I know they are all listed as public domain, but I just wanted to check and verify, as the studio mastering the album requires confirmation of usage rights for all samples.
If you could back to me with a way to get in touch about this it would be greatly appreciated.
Also, excellent work all around, love you videos.

Mystery Man
The man you see here is Ed Roberts. He was one of the in-house announcers for Chicago-based "snipe" producer Filmack, who produced this spot. You can hear his voice elsewhere in this section of the Archive.

Obtaining mechanical license?
I have a song about our local drive-in theater, and I'd love to use the audio for this on my new CD.
Does anyone know who owns the copyright to this piece and how I might be able to purchase the rights to use the audio?
Thanks,
- Michael

Who is he?
Any idea who this man is? This would make a nice little human interest story.

It's Hip to Be Square
Lovely little short. I am amazed at how much emotion can be fit into a less-than-a-minute bumper telling people the movie is over. So much emotion, it is a masterpiece.
