DudymasInkn Twee - white
I inked this a recently and thought it'd be fun to put it online for feedback. I tried to put a little motion into the tree as well as try to keep it static. The guy underneath it was just random. I didn't do any shadowing under the tree just because I'm lazy like that. The main idea was doing an approximation of a tree seen at a distance. Up close, trees don't look like this at all. I know that. But I'm trying to get a happy medium, because cartoony trees are easy and especially applicable to far away trees, but the in between is painfully discrete in how it can be done. We all know that far away equals quick and dirty. Up close is just slow, tiny, and monotonous, which is basically just like putting a million quick-and-dirties all close together. But what about in between them. That's why I drew this. The tree turned out windier and more 3d than I expected, and my notes on how I did this are at the bottom. Fun!
