This United Games footage of E3 2004, setup in chapter form, covers several parts of the culture of E3, and many games being shown that year with comments on the stages, videos and demos available, as well as complaints of lacking free stuff and innovation. See the segments section for details for each chapter.

E3 2004 features the Nintendo DS and PlayStation Portable (PSP) prototypes, as well as the existing Xbox, Playstation and Gamecube games of the year - the last year to heavily feature them. The footage therefore mainly focuses on the Nintendo DS and PSP.
