Notes
001 UTM - You've Got Spunk
Big band cabaret slickness all the way. Quirky, off beat melodies mixed by the high priest of mash up. Dare you not to smile! This tune would get even the squarest toes tapping.
002 Runagate - Art We Not Deco
Intelligent Dance Music???? Eh, with an IQ off the charts. A jam-packed sonic experience without lapses, dull moments or a slice of silence. Einstein would be proud.
003 Alex James - GrabaCab
Deep and dark jazzy bass and brass with beautifully contrasting high, pretty keys. Instead of flowers and LSD and sunlight and painted people we have a guy in a raincoat at night on his own thinking about his hippy friends. Pure genius.
004 Emdot Ambient - Free for All
A little bit of everything. In-your-face energy and great, 'free verse'over jazzy keys and hi-hats.

005 Barnadine - Man of Grace
Sweet and emotional, clear and eloquent, his voice echoes in and out, as he takes us through all facets of his character; the angel, the devil, the mad man, the funny man, the honest man who faces his own sense of mortality.
006 Techbot - Can We Do This Alnight
He's got a thing fer brass. And wacky raps sped up and chopped up to form entirely new languages. There's a consistent bow-chikka-bowwow melody throughout that really keeps the whole tune on a slightly raunchy level.
007 Blaster78 - Cacophony
Slightly glitched-up beats fill out the ample space that makes this tune so smooth, all topped off with a sweet ending to a track if ever we heard one!
008 Freeztar - Beleza
A soft duet atop elevator music and a double bass played really high up on the neck, until the Samba kicks in to take us out dancing! Leave your shoes at home.
009 Chenard Walcker - Middle
Lulling plucked and bowed strings, phat beats, and always interesting, original electronic sounds. Darker riffs and feelings, sampled creepy monsters, and effected children, blended with the lightness of double bass lines. Previously released on Chenard's own label, but we didn't care. This compilation wouldn't have a beginning or an end without a Middle.
010 Glassback - Green Leaves in White Paper Rolls
Banjo in a room full of thick, delicious smoke. Why are we getting Glassback, hookahs and the Cheshire Cat all mixed up? Dontcha know? GLWPR: The ultimate in relaxation-inducers.
011 bendybones - Spybreak
A cool laid back tune, rises, falls and kicks right on queue. Turn them speakers up and check out 'em vocal cutz!!
012 vurtOpia - Another World
Sitars, synths and folky vocals mirroring the melody. This haunting electro-psychedelic piece creates an interesting melange of old and new styles and sounds.
013 PositivePixee - Fools Gold
A perfect pop piece performed by the princess of possibility. Tis not a leprechaun you'll find at the end of this rainbow - tis a wee pixee.
014 The Pregnancy Steering Convention - Icicles
A clever combination; cool tom solo as extended intro that spans into a tropical rhythm. A really nice finger-picked bass. Pots n pans percussion?? Acoustic and electric guitar riffs. The perfect tune to get rid of the morning blues.
015 Ellis Breen - Vibe Out
Lovely electronic beats rising and falling in waves that bubble up against the ears and fall back to a simmer constantly, creating undulations that subversively give plenty of variation without having to change much and allowing the track to stay subtle and instantly addictive.
016Markleford Friedman - Burnt Credit Remix
Spacious, energetic DnB with a perfect blend of piano and guitar riffs to carry you on an audio mind trip.
017 Van Greco - The Best
Raw acoustic and electric guitar complements the soft, deep vocals and a great ear-catching melody, slightly angst-ridden yet with a glimmer of hope shining through.
018 Scot Solida - Slingshot Effect
High-energy from the master of sonic textures. Time and space make way for new dimensions.
