Idiosyncratic Dance Music is the 20th release and 17th album-a-day by electronic musician Adhesion. As evidenced by the title, this album is comprised of electronic dance music more conventional than Adhesion's usual experimental fare, with all songs in 4/4 and none slower than 125 bpm. Genres covered include dark & ambient techno, gabber, house, acid and of course IDM. Recommended tracks: Steel + Eyes + Mind, an angry gabber stomper, idiosynchronous, an acid-tinged, fast-paced IDM track, and Everybody Dance Like There's Ass In Your Pants, a vocoder-infused funky floor-filler reminiscent of classic house like Mr. Fingers (with title shamelessly ripped from Achewood). This release was written and produced entirely in software on April 20th-21st, 2007.
