Gary SpenceT-Polar - Citezen LP [ETX004] ()

T-Polar aka Gary Spence has been a major player in the Electrotoxic netlabel since day one, Gary has used his Citezen project as a playground for darker and more experimental ideas. After a string of excellent releases on Modernism, Morris Audio, Karloff and the Epsilonlab and Thinner netlabels, he exercises a looser form of expression in his debut Electrotoxic LP combining moody soundscapes, broken beats, and beautiful melodies with an ever present but more adventurous T-Polar style. From downtempo ambient journeys to upbeat glitch-ridden grooves, this album displays a less defined face of T-Polar with a broad scope of ideas keeping things interesting with plenty of twists and turns in a clever and polished style.
