Proudly we present the next very special release on Ear-Land. It is a complete album from the guys of East Island. The album is called Sadly Brain, also a title of one of the tracks on the album. Its an ambient album which contains 11 of their best tracks, selected with great care and compiled for this album. Typical for this album are the beatiful soundscapes and layers, every now and then supported by sophisticated rhythms, wholl take the listener to new and strange worlds. Because of the fact it is a whole album, as an extra well deliver you next to the usual small cover, the CD-cover (back/front) and the diskcover. All of this is especially designed by The R, an artist in graphic arts. Of course the music and covers are free to download, as usual.

May 20, 2007 Subject: Nothing "Sadly" about this lovely release! I was turned onto the music of East Island thanks to the guys at StillStream.com, a fantastic internet radio resource for ambient music. This release combines hints of East Island's techno background, with lolloping rhythms and tweedly resonant loop patterns, with the gentler and more smoothly evolving pads and textures of ambient. It never gets too dancey for my tastes, and when it chills it chills beautifully. Recommended tracks for a first listen: The Deep Edge and Ace. Go for it!
