Subject: The Encroaching Debut
This is yet again, another multimedia barrage of information & vibration on ALL the human senses that, in a milieu of a continuing, ever-changing social abstraction that, to me is the almost the epitome when it comes to Ensphere's music in a nutshell. It STILL leaves the viewer & experience-er in a mesmerized & truthfully inspired state of almost total bliss... at least their Plexus shows still & has always done that for me! The Encroaching is one of the new editions to the 2011 set-list rotation. I first heard this track "demo recorded" online on their soundclick page, initially to be honest i was a little turned off by it's rigidity & seemingly direct late-NIN influence... but if you listen closely to Michael's hi-hat work you'd be amazed at just how incredible his effort is! Regarding Randall's lyrical work, well it needs work to say the least but i still get his intention here w/ 'Encroaching'. Anyways great show altogether, all the bands were great and they were all classic Plexus material! some minor technical error's/blips on both sides of production but nothing to major, either way I love my job.
