Description
This is the FBI file for the National Labor Federation/NATLFED/Provisional Communist Party/Eastern Farm Workers Association/Eastern Service Workers Association, a fringe political group founded by Gino Perente (though his name is everywhere in this file blacked out). The file begins with the first complaints the bureau recieved in 1975, and documents a full-scale investigation in 1984, when the bureau was convinced violent acts in support of party-led workers revolution were imminent. After the FBI raided the group's headquarters in February 1984, the file becomes thin. The last two sections are mostly intelligence on Gus Hall's Communist Party USA (CPUSA), an unrelated group with a similar name.
