Subject: Proof that we've been here before
As a document of the backlash against American broadcasting's first professional provocateur, the value of this document is large, and since Coughlin's dishonest rhetorical techniques are still very heavily in play, "Father Coughlin: His 'Facts' and Arguments" is sadly much more than just a history lesson. It would've been a bit more interesting to pick over a broader selection of speeches, but this booklet was a reaction to a specific broadcast (one of Coughlin's most notorious), so I can't really fault the author(s) on that point.
Considering the current media climate, the cover letter included in the ebook, with its encouragement not to engage Coughlin on his own airwaves out of fear of encouraging his popularity, reads like something from another universe
