One again of a series of ten poems on The Ten Commandments, this religious and spiritual poem is a longer of the failed though worthwhile series. These words appear in the poem: God gives good advice: Our mutual gifts embrace. God's wisdom, man's understanding of living. The Fifth Commandment is Honor Thy Father and Mother. Listeners as well as readers of this poem, and any of the series, may take issue with its Ten Commandments order. The order used and text of the Commandments was taken by the Episcopal Church USA "Book of Common Prayer."
