50's TV Network IDs.
Between programs, In the days before Network Bugs, the major TV networks aired little bumpers reminding viewers what network they were watching. Depending on whether the show was live or Kinescoped, Different IDs would be used.

Oddly nostalgic
This was WAY back when there was no cable TV and what became PBS was still on the drawing boards. The last clip with the shouting kids in the background is from a kinescope of the kids game show "Sense and Nonsense", available elsewhere in the Archive.

The DuMont announcer on the last clip is Bill Wendell, who went on to NBC New York and, years later, was David Letterman's announcer on Late Night and The Late Show.
