Bryan laid off the spirits this time when kicked it with an always cool Dave Allen (the man behind the bass in Gang Of Four) on the Doug Fir patio during the Portland Music Appreciation Night presented by Filter and Honda Fit. The two (with some special guests) engaged in a fireside chat about lacrosse, how he ended up in Portland by way of Leeds, and how Gang of Four and Joy Divison are not genres. If you ever wondered who Bryan's hero is (think Pavement) or the artist Dave Allen wish he signed (think Born Slippy), you are in luck.
