This documentary was showed in the Festival de Cine Obrero (FELCO 2009 Uruguay) and in the Festival Internacional de Documentales “Santiago Alvarez in Memoriam” (Cuba 2009).
This work seeks recover the political experience of organization and struggle of the venezuelan people based on the history of the Barrio known as "23 de Enero".
From its foundation, the popular organizations which arose in 23 de Enero have stand out in the political events which marked the venezuelan history and that result in a new revolutionary process.
The people who talk here belong to grass root movements and they explain in first person the most important historical events stressing the relation between popular struggles in the neighborhood: fights for water, electricity, education... and the history of the venezuelan left.
