A memorable flight for me. I took off from the valemont airstrip using a powered hang glider harness I called the DV8, I thermaled to about 14,600' ASL about a mile south of Mt.Robson to look down on its top. That was the first time I had ever seen the top of the mountain without a cloud surrounding it. see the pictures I have of that day at:( http;//budoracle.blogspot.com )on the post on Sunday August 17 2008 When I checked my figures I see that my memory of the height of Mt. Robson is incorrect. I was about 500 to 600 feet over the top so that I must have been at approximately at 13, 800 ASL. I must have added the extra 1000 feet in exaggeration error.
