The Freedom From Oil campaign is pushing the auto industry to dramatically improve overall fuel efficiency and reduce vehicle greenhouse gas emissions to end America's oil addiction, stop wars over oil, create good jobs here and stop global warming now. Raising average fuel economy to 40 mpg by 2015 would create an estimated 161,000 new jobs and save consumers $23 billion annually. This video is an introduction into what green technology can mean for automakers, autoworkers and the planet.
