Evan Wolfson addresses the Legal Marriage Alliance of Washington during their 10th Anniversary celebration. The state anticipates a court ruling any week now which could make Washington the second state to legalize marriage in the country. Wolfson underscored how we explain to the community, allies, public, and legislature, "Why the right way to end discrimination in marriage is to end discrimination in marriage, not create something new, lesser, separate or other by civil union."
