I think with this album I started to further define the sound of Fudgedubnofunk ... a mixture of breakbeat, techno & ambient (+ some other bits n' bobs too). By this time I'd also established myself on Electromancer.com, so was getting a decent number of listeners of my new tunes too. There was also this dark underbelly growing up inside my music ... when I listen to these tunes now I don't think the title 'Inner Darker Self' quite justifies itself, although I was getting there! Incidentally the album was actually spawned by the initials of the (UK) Conservative party leader at the time ... IDS (Ian Duncan Smith). The "Satan" pic is actually of said fellow ... I just f**ked it up a bit!! Oh yeah, most of noises that make up these tunes were made using Propellerheads Reason. RAH!
