Subject: Nothing wrong with the audio
There's nothing scratchy on these VBR files. Archive has been having trouble with the player. No compression was used.

Subject: Sound quality issues
Listening to the VBR mp3s you can hear sound issues with the recording. It's scratchy (compression?) sounding. Hard on the ears.

Someone reviewed this and said it sounded scratchy or compressed. There was definitely no compression used here. I don't hear what you are talking about. I compared "Joey" from all three uploads of this show and they sound similar. Actually, the sound player messed up when I tried to play the Peluso source.It played for a second or two, then threw in some diginoise. Archive has been having issues with the embedded sound player. I think that's what you heard. I assure you there are no artifacts on the original flac files.
