Samuel J Seymour
Samuel J Seymour was 96 years old on February 8, 1956 when he appeared on this show as the only living witness to the assassination of Abraham Lincoln,on April 14, 1865, Mr Seymour died 2 months later, on April 14, 1956, ironically 91 years to the day he witnessed Lincolns assassination.

a piece of history
image being still alive in 1956 at age 96 after being present at fords theater in 1865. now over 50 years later more history. the only one now with a chance at being 96 is ms meadows at 88, who guessed mr seymours secret. everyone else on the show died basically in their 70s. mr moore, morgan, cullen and arnaz of lung illnesses, ms ball of heart ailment.

Smoke! Smoke! Smoke!
Wow. This is good. High quality fun sponsored by a low-quality product. Desi is kinda sexy. Lucy is rather cute. The show itself is charming.
BUT THOSE COMMERCIALS ARE STINKY!

I've Got A Review
This gets an automatic 5-Stars from me just for the fact of having Samuel J. Seymour in it! Who would have thought someone who saw Lincoln get shot would still be around when this show was shot? On top of that - they knew who they had! It is worth 5-Stars just to see a bit of living history.

Many notable things
The IGAS Website says this episode aired Feb. 8th, 1956. Some interesting bits: Lucy and Desi without a script. Desi plays a trick on Lucy here.
Lucy has some tricks of her own, too.
Also, one of the other contestants, Samuel J. Seymour, who was 96 at the time, was the last surviving person to see Abe Lincoln shot.
Also, you can see Garry Moore do a "live" commercial for Winston and there's also a film commercial for Winston Cigarettes.
At the end, you'll see Phil Silvers do a promo for his own TV show, Sgt. Bilko.
The 50's clothes are an amazing sight.
I give it 4 stars because of it's age and unique glimpse of a day in the life of 7 people captured on TV in 1956.
