To those interested in recording a live glass show:
We're happy to allow audience recordings of our live concerts. Please be courteous and make sure to take into consideration your location as it will affect other listeners and our soundman (Chris Hall). We are currently not allowing board patches for numerous reasons, the most important currently being that, more often than not, an audience recording will sound far better than a soundboard patch, as far as instrument balance is concerned. In other words - please don't disturb Chris about getting a board patch! Also, we cannot supply power or any type of cables or media. You must be self-sufficient!
Please feel free to distribute your recordings as you wish. It helps other traders to know what to expect from your recording if you note what the source of your recording is (microphones, recording deck/media (e.g. minidisc or dat)). Digital duplication of audience recordings, be it MiniDisc, DAT, or any computer-based style of distribution is acceptable.
If you intend to record a show, please contact the band and arrange to get a copy to us.
**IMPORTANT**
Any duplication of a recording officially released for sale by the band is strictly forbidden! Please honor this wish, in that our sales directly relate to our ability to travel and perform outside of our "hometown" area!
All of that being said, work is being done on setting up a trades connection on the website. People to contact currently are Dottie and Chad (Max Power), both of whom you can reach via the message board.
We strongly encourage taping and trading - an entire music scene is built upon this community ideal!
