Subject: Paper turns to Pompery
What promised to be a fasicnating overview of how Newspapers are made ends up a Newspaper-hag film. We start by showing us a great overview of Minnesota (The Butter State! The Iron State!). Such a magnificent state needs a good newspaper. And that is of course, the Minneapolis Star-Journal. Then the fun starts as we get a AWESDOME overview of how the paper is put together, from writing, showing, in a neat demonstration, how wire photos are recieved, putting type in, to finally, printing the paper. The whole oddyssey is amazingly entertaining and informtive of newspaper processes of yesteryear. From there though, it goes MAJORLY downhill, as it does a LOT of backslapping, introuding us to almost EVERYONE who writes for the paper, which is amusing, but highly unneccesary. So this is a great film to see for the first 10 minutes or so. From there, proceed at your own caution,
