Subject: Just as good upon repeated listen!
I've listened to this show SO many times, and I keep coming back...what a fabulous night!!! Hot Buttered Rum with Honkytonk Homeslice, Sharon Gilchrist, Adam Galblum and members of New Monsoon (and now the Blue Man Group, since Marty Ylitalo started with them last month!).

Subject: Virginias'sGrin->Sweet Honey Fountain!!!
The highlight for me is disc two. The first disco number track will knock your socks off and then you get treated to a killer "Rocketman." Marty (keys) sounds like a man possessed. Great stuff.
And "Thrill is Gone" through the "Feel Like Dancin" encore is the next stop on this epic Hot Buttered Homeslice extravaganza.
Definitely a must have for any Bill Nershi fans and arguably one of the best Hot Buttered Rum String Band shows of 2004.

Subject: good clean fun
Wow. Great stuff here! The recording is crystal clear. There are one or two moments of static or weirdness to be aware of. During Rollin In My Sweet baby's Arms at 3:38 for about 10 seconds, was one I noted. I Forgot to note the time & place of the other. These are isolated moments that shouldn't turn anybody away. This is first rate stuff! Huge list of guests, and everybody is having a great time. 5 stars for sure.

Thanks for capturing this Alec, it's so wonderful to be able to listen to it over and over again...I almost feel like I'm back on Enchanted Ridge again. It's especially nice to see how many people have downloaded the show and to know that this special weekend was shared by so many in this way!

I saw these boys in Lawrence @ Wakarusa...they got the feet hoppin' then and this show for sure will get your knees bumpin. Hats off for the sound quality...bad to the bone pickin' on this show...GET IT!!!

Subject: beautiful
fantastic show, one of the best bleugrass shows I've ever heard. the setlist is fantastic, old tunes, new tunes, and a particularly long list of awesome covers. HBR does an incredible cover of Cumberland Blues. Quality is muy bueno!!!

Absolutely amazing show. Really, really fun atmosphere, the band's obviously having a great time. "Squall" absolutely blew me away, and there are seven or eight other tracks that I love listening to.

I'm fairly new here. I love live recordings. This one is the best so far! I love, love, love the delicate way that you hear something off to the side while the music is happening. Very quiet things are in the recording without any compromises. The band is also fun!
