Just a smokin bunch of Norweigan Wood. I sit here cranking out Enviro reports, just banging and Zoning on the data, and get to this bit of hot smack and makes me glad to be alive again! Got to rate a 5 for the intensity of the fire. The Hot Shots will love it!

Ive been to this venue many times throughout the years and this night was definatly one of the best. I was surprised that JAMCRITIC had anything nice to say as these guys openly admit Phil Lesh is an ICON and a big influence to them. Lighten up buddy!!

I was at this show and I have now listened to it twice, it RIPS! Crank it up loud to really appreciate it.

The tunes with the guests are simply incredible. Thile & Marshall blend in so well.

I particularly want to point out the Evolution jam. It is 'oh my god' material. The I'll Fly Away encore is another moment where you realize these guys can do it all and take you in so many directions. An epic night.

Subject: Great night.....
Just listening to this show for the first time and hot damn the HBRSB sure is sounding good. I love seeing and hearing a band when they are the fast track of getting better and better.

All in all a great night at the GAMH, as packed as ive ever seen it. Great crowd, everyone made room for everyone else. The energy just lifted off when Mike and Chris hit the stage. Those guys must have been in heaven. Mike is an incredible multi-instrumentalist and Chris Thile is the heir to the mandolin throne.

Great stuff, get it!!

This show was a big night for those kids. You can tell they are fired up to be playing the GAMH. This is a very nice sounding matrix. Look out for the kid from Nickel Creek sitting in with MandoJedi Mike Marshall at the end of both sets. That kids solos make him sound like the Jimi Hendrix of the mandolin. The first song of the encore, Dolphine, is a little acoustic number that really hits home.

This is going to be a really popular show...

Notes

* w/ Mike Marshall
# w/ Chris Thile
^ Almost acoustic
% w/ GAMH
