A trip with the family to historic Haleiwa town on the North Shore of Oahu in Hawaii. It's a beautiful place somewhat clogged with tourist traffic. The key draw for many is shave ice, with Matsumoto's being the quintessential destination. My wife and I prefer Aoki's, just a few yards down the street, where the ice is finer and the lines are shorter.
