Lessons Learned – Process Management Warmup question: Have you ever seen a process being too light or too heavy and how can you tell the difference? Barbara surveyed people outside the team to get their perceptions, then worked to correct processes in order to make a better impression Helped PMs to see that their cookie cutter approach was too rigid and heavy of processes – example: weekly meetings turned into standup meetings and each meeting needed a goal, agenda and time to complete They made better estimations so that their “stakeholders” could send more projects their way. She started a PMO without any funds by networking the PMs
