Credits

This group performs live in San Francisco with the Drum Machine Museum, and an Audio only version of the music will appear in the UK base www.access-space.org release "Linux Open Source Sound (LOSS)" due out soon.

Segments

How We made the audio:
This track was performed on a small ensemble of hardware synths including a Yamaha XG Y-70, Two Alesis Air FX signal processors, a Korg Koas Pad, a Korg Electribe EA-1, and a Korg Electribe ER-1. Mixing was done using a Behringer DX 100 Pro Mixer. The computer used to record the track used a 1.5Ghz Athlon CPU on an Aopen Motherboard. The Operating system of the machine was Stanford University's Planet CCRMA's distribution of Redhat 9. The initial recording was done with Audacity, a hard-disc record application. Mastering for the track was performed using ReZound, a sound file editor and recorder.

Shotlist

On the Video side of things we used hand processed Super8 film footage from Peter's private collection as the material base for some special custom 3D objects designed by the Cypod to interact with the midi using open source platform Pure Data and specifically the GEM library of externals. The video was then remixed further my VJ Colours as part of the mastering process.
