CATHLEEN ANGELO is the Founder and key Missionary of the organization Fighting For Futures. She recently returned home from Cambodia in Southeast Asia where she was involved in a number of community initiatives such as providing children who had never before seen or held a camera, with photography classes; building toilets and showers for the community and making music with young musicians. Cathleen gives Angela an update of all her activities and also talks about the organization's forthcoming activities which undoubtedly will take her far away from New York City once again.
In a separate segment, Angela presents an overview of the genocide inflicted upon the Cambodian people from 1975 to 1979 under the Communist regime of Pol Pot and of the death destruction that resulted from the United States war on Vietnam. This segment is accompanied by musical selections from the likes of Guns and Roses, Sam Cooke, John Lennon, Band Aid and Dub Poet ANTON.
