Insight: Traditional French Jazz Band Sac a Pulses (May 24, 2005)

Sac a Pulses, a traditional jazz band from France, performs live in our studio and sits down for an interview with host Jeffrey Callison. They talk about this year's Jubilee and what it's like to tour the world and make great music. Sacramento Jazz Jubilee Executive Director Roger Krum also join Jeffrey during today's program.

Sac a Pulses is a five-piece band featuring trombone, saxophone, washboard, tuba, and guitar and banjo. Playing Dixieland and New Orleans jazz, Sac a Pulses will be one of several international bands at this year's Sacramento Jazz Jubilee, Memorial Day weekend, May 27 - 30.
