After Prop 8 - How can California discuss controversial issues more civilly? Some issues seem to inspire strong feelings and even antagonism. One of them is same-sex marriage, and we saw that last year in the campaign for Proposition 9, a constitutional amendment that voters passed defining marriage as being only between a man and a woman. On Monday, at a symposium called "After Proposition 8," experts will consider ways to defuse overly heated discussion of political and social issues. Today on Insight, we'll talk with some of those experts.
Boy Scouts Rally - The Boy Scouts of America are getting an early start on their 100th anniversary celebrations. Thousands of Boy Scouts are expected to gather in downtown Sacramento tomorrow for a rally and other festivities. It will be the first Boy Scouts 100th anniversary celebration in the nation.
