Governor's Race - One year from today, California voters will elect their next Governor. Three Republicans are running: Insurance Commissioner Steve Poizner, former EBay CEO Meg Whitman, and former Congressman Tom Campbell. But no Democrat is officially in the race. Late last week, San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom withdrew, and while former Governor and current Attorney General Jerry Brown is expected to run, but isn't yet in the race. At least, not officially.
