IP Collage was a net.art object which plotted each visitor's IP (Internet Protocol) address as a rectangular shape onto an image. The four 8-bit words define shape and location (x,y,width,height) as well as color (r,g,b,alpha).
At any given time, the image is a record of all of the IP addresses of all of the visitors who have viewed the image.
This video contains the first year of the object's growth. Each 10 seconds of video corresponds roughly to one day of actual time.
