JD LasicaLawrence Lessig in Second Life (2006)

This video is a screen capture of 16 minutes of a 90-minute appearance by author Prof. Lawrence Lessig discussing intellectual property law in front of 100 member of Linden Lab's Second Life virtual world on Jan. 18, 2006. All participants are represented by avatars. Philip Rosedale, founder and CEO of Linden Lab, is represented by Philip Linden here. This is a quite interesting, groundbreaking experience. To read the chat conversation, you can't see the words at Ourmedia's standard 320x240 dimensions, so you need to download the 29mb file and display it up at its 800x600-pixel size.
