JD NajemThe Sound of Bomblets: Room 402

A 7:30 interview with Hassan Hamadeh, a 12-year-old boy who was injured by a cluster bomb after the 2006 war between Israel and Hezbollah. Israel dropped 4.5 million cluster bombs (many US-made) during the war. It's estimated 90 percent were dropped in the last thre days and about one-third didn't explode. Those that didn't explode have killed more than 30 people and injured more than 200 (as of September 2007) since the cessation of hostilities on August 14, 2006. Look for raw audio of interviews with other cluster bomb victims on this site.
