David J. GrossmanJohann Sebastian Bach - Works for Solo Lute (March 27, 1997)

David J. Grossman Published these works in MIDI format on his webpage: Dave's JS Bach Page.

I've tried to literally translate his recording into MP3 format. I hope you enjoy his work as much as I do.

Subject: Pleasant Elevator Muzak
I love elevator music, so of course I love this. MIDI is a great thing, not because it has any artistic worth (It has NONE!), But because listening to these poorly made recordings reminds me how good music used to be before it was ruined by over-use of "Cost saving" productions thingys. Thank you!

Subject: midi lute of JS Bach
Very pleasant to listen to. It is a shame that it is a midi rather than live recording. It reminds me a little of tunes that used to play in certain games on the commodore 64. However having said this it is very relaxing and I can feel my ability to concentrate increasing as I listen to it. It is a quick download and I am sure that I will listen to it many times. I haven't been using this site long but in the time I have this is one of the more pleasant music files I have come across.
