Supernice tape containing one fabulous mix of the bigger part of the Jahtari output, skillfully blended with cunning FX action by Sätchmo / Berlin. Great overview of what happened so far and THE right thing if you’re new to Jahtari. If you’re not it’s still nice to get back into the older classics again and to hear these tunes in a completely new context. Chip Roots Reggae of all sorts to the bone!

Subject: pretty cool, but-
if you are new to the Jahtari sound-- just go and download all of their releases-- every single one is interesting! this is an amazingly fresh concept in music production and i wish them all the best-
but this mix-- as much as i want to like it--
has this howling wolf sound throughout the WHOLE mix, over and over- and i feel that it totally ruins the vibe--
so, just go check out the releases themselves and avoid this, unless of course you like to listen to the same wolf howl sample repeatedly for almost an hour...

Subject: Great Modern Dub
These folks from Germany have managed to channel a very Jamaican vibe, circa 1975, and combine it with an 8-bit video game collection's worth of beeps and blips. Highly recommended.
