Subject: Greene with envy!
Outstanding recording, Chris! What a great show. I was at the Highland Bowl, Roch., NY to see Jackie and RatDog. SUPER VENUE ... perfect outdoor setting.

For those of you who have not heard Jackie Green before, Chris LaPorte's offering here on the LAMA is a great place to start.

Greene offers a variety of styles ... Dylan and "Springsteenesque" acoustic guitar and harmonica work (Gone Wanderin' and Uphill Mountain) ... as well as some rockin' blues work (Parchman Farm) ... "So Hard To Find My Way" could be played as a cross-over light-country tune on CMT right now ... that's how polished it is.

Finally, the Beatles covers Taxman and Don't Let Me Down are terrific (Mark Karan, from RatDog joins Jackie on DLMD).
