Jeff Bujak generates heavily organized piano progressions, twists and winds them amid constantly evolving poly-rhythmic electronic beats and constructs a sound that is not only unique, but extremely fresh to the underground music scene. Bujak is a solo performer that uses computers, keyboards, effects, samplers and vocals to create a 'progressive-piano groove.'  Most live performances are recorded and released for free download and most of them are found here on archive.org.  Others can be found at www.livebuj.com for free as well.

Rights

On January 22, 2007 Jeff Bujak gave the OK for archive.org:

"TAPER POLICY FOR:

JEFF BUJAK

Jeff Bujak ALLOWS soundboard (SBD) access, taping from your seat, front of soundboard (FOB) taping, onstage taping and photography.
Jeff Bujak DOES NOT require a taper's ticket or have a taper section.
Jeff Bujak DOES NOT allow videotaping without consent of the band.

Taping Policy:

Welcome Tapers. I love you - I need you - I encourage you to tape my shows and share them with the world. The taping of Jeff Bujak’s live performances are for non-commercial home use only. Any resale or use of live concert audio for commercial gain without explicit written permission from Jeff Bujak is strictly prohibited. I support the taping community and will do everything possible to accommodate tapers and to ensure you get the best quality audio possible.

SOUNDBOARD ACCESS: Wherever possible board patches are available on a first come, first served basis. It may not always be possible to offer board patches at every show, so be prepared to use microphones. Where possible power will be available to save on the use of disposable batteries, but again it may not be possible at each venue so if you want to tape, please bring a portable deck.

MIC STANDS: If you use mic stands, please keep them out of the way of the view between the sound board and the stage. If you are blocking the view you may be asked to move your mic stand.

PHOTOGRAPHY: Photography will be allowed at most shows.

VIDEO: Video recording is not allowed without consent of the band.

And of course, these are Jeff Bujak’s rules and may conflict with the venues policy. Please check with the venue before assuming that taping is allowed.
