This is a performance of a Western Swing tune entitled "Hi-Flyer Stomp". Played by "Fiddling" Phil Newton (violin) and Tom Joad (guitar). Recorded 25th March 2005 in Manchester, UK.
This same performance was also recorded by a digital camcorder and the video clip can be seen here. The sound on the video clip was recorded by the camcorder mic whereas the audio recording on this page was recorded by a pair of professional recording mics and a mixer.
