In June 2005, John Hickey gave permission for shows to be hosted at the Archive:

Yes, that would be great. The person who set up the account contacted me a while ago to get permission and I sent them the band policy. You can activate it for both band and fan uploads. Thanks alot for checking it out...its nice to know that our music is in good hands. Thanks again,

Policy
Live audio recording of The John Hickey Band (digital or analog) is permitted and encouraged. Soundboard patches are not allowed,
however. Your recording must not interfere with other concertgoers' view or enjoyment of the show. Your recording equipment (recorders, microphones, stands, etc..) cannot be placed in front of the soundboard. Tapers must provide their own power source, as no outlets will be provided. Recordings may be traded fairly and evenly, but cannot be sold for profit.
