On July 8, 2008 permission was granted by Scotty Crowe for John Mayer's inclusion in the LMA.

Also, any live audience recordings from any date are allowed on archive.org, not just Summer 2008 shows.

Taping Policy:
John Mayer allows audio recording at most concerts. We ask that all tapers
respect venue policies as well as fellow concert-goers' personal space and
view of the show. Photography is allowed, but no professional still cameras
or video cameras are permitted without appropriate media credentials.
JM supports the free distribution of live audience recordings from the 2008
Summer Tour. If you have such a recording that you would like to have listed
on johnmayer.com, send a message to recordings@johnmayer.com. Include your
name, the concert date, venue/city, and an email or url that can be accessed
in order to obtain a copy of the recording.
In addition, the free and non-commercial distribution of live recordings
from other tours is encouraged. No soundboard feeds or recordings are
allowed.
If you have other media you would like to share, we encourage you to visit
johnmayer.blackberry.com to upload photos, video, and comments for any show
on the 2008 Summer Tour.
