Juggling Suns/Mark Diomede and Friends Live Recording
Policy: Updated September 2002
Audience recording is permitted at most Juggling
Suns/Mark Diomede and Friends (Mark & Friends) shows,
including the Acoustic Mark and Friends shows. Here
are a few simple guidelines:
1. Audience recording using microphones is permitted.
2. Soundboard recording via patches provided through
the band will be allowed at most performances. AC
power will be provided at most performances.
3. For video recording, we please ask that you contact
the band or Juggling Suns soundman prior to the gig.
In most cases, permission will be granted. We kindly
ask that you provide a copy of your video for use by
the band.
4. Still photography, including flash, is permitted at
most performances. We kindly ask that you limit the
number of flash pictures because this can sometimes
distract the band.
Guest performances by other artists will be governed
by that artist's policy. When Juggling Suns/Mark &
Friends is performing at a festival, other event, or
venue featuring multiple bands, that particular
event's or venue's policy may override Juggling
Suns/Mark & Friends normal policy of allowing taping.
There will be no exceptions to the prohibitions on
taping for particular guest artists or
festivals/venues.
The trading of Juggling Suns/Mark & Friends audio (in
any format, including cassettes, CDs, MP3, shn or
similar computer files), video and still photography
for personal, non-commercial use is strongly
encouraged. In the event that Juggling Suns/Mark &
Friends record a performance for actual release, then
the band's version of the performance will supercede
any other version of the show, and fans are asked to
no longer trade the non-released version. Recordings
may be traded only for an equivalent amount of similar
media (cassettes or CDs, pre-recorded or blank).
Regardless of any expenses incurred, no money may ever
be exchanged as part of a trade; however, stamped,
self-addressed envelopes may be included with blank
media. In no case may any officially-released
Juggling Suns/Mark & Friends recording (live or
studio) be duplicated or otherwise traded or offered.
Audience or soundboard recordings, video and still
photography are authorized for personal,
non-commercial use. Unauthorized sale or use is
strictly forbidden. All Juggling Suns/Mark & Friends
performances, including live recordings, video and
still photography are the exclusive property of
Juggling Suns, Mark Diomede and Chubby Productions.
