Reviewer:WilsonB - - August 15, 2009 Subject: A great evening on the Sundeck ! This was the last night of the two cruises for Jamcruise '04, and KDTU's manager let me run a board feed for a matrix. I had already attached mics to the awning for a different show, and was unhappy with the talking from the bar. I had a stand with a ten foot boom, so I figured I would use the boom and try suspending the mics from the upper deck, and use the awning to shield the noise from the bar. It worked pretty well.
There is a point between tracks four and five where you can hear someone in the distance make some sort of whistling noise as Karl comes in on the keys. When I close my eyes and listen, I can almost smell the sea breeze and it really takes me there. I loved this performance, and I hope you guys enjoy it too.
