Musicians perspective: This was the second gig with this particular trio. Nice environment. Beautiful day! We had probably 100 people sitting on the grass enjoying their lunch and our music. I totally mutilated and train-wrecked "Ipanema". I apologize for all time and probably should be banned from playing it for at least 3 gigs. Everything else went fairly well. The laptop refused to recognize the Helix via firewire, no matter what I did, so sadly, no multi-track recording. More reason to get the Zoom R16. Heh heh. Norm, Gary and Kevin decided to put the trio on hold for a month or two while Kevin eases into his new job and then try to do 1 gig per month between the various country clubs and wineries such as Bookwalter.
