Pioneering Canadicana Eh?
I have to wonder what it is they put in the water in Canada as that country has lately been producing some of the most brilliant independent singer/songwriters on face of the planet.
Alexandra Krakus and Kaya Fraser are two perfect examples of the newest face of folk music. I affectionately call it "Canadicana" but you know the story -- 'a rose by any other name..'
If you love folk music do yourself a favor and join the new renaissance. You can start by treating your ears to two of it's brightest stars on the rise.
Thank you Chris at Zeke's Gallery for capturing this performance -- you rock!
