Dr. Kent Hovind gives compelling evidence for a young earth of about 6,000 years, and that we owe the complexity of all life, and the provisions on earth to sustain life, to an uncreated intelligent Creator, and not a brainless, mindless process called evolution.

Subject: God is not a man that He should lie!
Since I am a simple man and a person that takes things and looks at them at face value, I have learned that through my years as an educator and study of life; that there is more to life then what I have seen and observed in my short life. I grew up with one of my grandparents, he lived to be over a hundred. When the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor, they took all the U.S. money to be burn (destroyed) and my grandfather and his eldest son was tasked to help. BTW, my grandfather came from Hiroshima to work and live in Hawaii at the beginning of 1900; my mother worked in the fields and after the war raised us boys in the simple ways of life! After college and the Vietnam Conflict, I started into my three careers. Electronics (Communication and anything to do with taking intelligences and sending them long distances and keeping others from getting it and using it for their own) I also entered in the Aeronautical and Management Control field (Taught college level courses to adults and gave exams that licensed persons in the FAA and FCC fields) and third I got into a deep field that I cannot get too specific with as it concerns listening to others when they do not know and the means of doing so that even the governments of this world do not know. Kind of shameful, but then what can you say since you would not and could not say anything about it nor understand why certain things happen and no one except God would know, unless you are taken and or the one that did the taking! Lets just call it a surprise!
I have listened to Kent Hovind many times since he started putting out all of these learning and debating videos and audio tracks, also a few of his acquaintances as well; many of which get upset and act and make a muck of the English language and themselves as supposedly learned folk as they claim and state. I understand their frustration, at time when I am explaining something to a student and many a foreign student and they do not get it and knowing what they will do can and will endanger other humans in the air and on the ground, make me what to 'fail' them and with some it can cost them their lives or an appendage. (We will not go into that, unless you care to use your imagination!) Based on listen and reading and studying God's Word, I find the majority of what Mr. Hovind puts out to be extremely accurate and parallel with God's Word, therefore, I am a tad bias on some individuals comments and reviews that I have read and reviewed on my search engines and text.
One such character is Mr. Reviewer "givens03" with the following and many other comment, but just taking one of his/her many, " The theory of evolution is constantly tested. With new technology this theory is gaining strength in the scientific community. 90% of scientists in this field must agree on a hypothesis in order for it to become a theory." And taken from the below:

Creationism, mans greatest lie
Since realizing the scope of God in my life that is all I can say or base any argument and frankly there is no arguing with what I had observed and saw and my wife seeing also what had happened in my life. I was supposed to die and I did not, then I was supposed to be operated on and before they would cut me open, God healed me as evident and witnessed by over a hundred persons that were there. My medical records reflected this also. This was in the early seventies. Since then, God and no one else had also healed a friend who was crushed by a fifteen ton fork lift... While praying, the leg grew out over four inches and he no longer limps or has issue with his crushed hips and legs. While praying at another location and upon a ladies request, lets say evil things came out of her upon using what God had provided and she forgave her father for the abuse and she also received healing and forgiveness as she blamed her father's death on herself. This lady life was changed before her entire community on the island of Kauai and today, she also serves the Lord. Many others can be noted, so I have seen and know what Mr. Hovind speaks of is true and as stated parallels also what I had learned in my 150 plus semester hours in the higher educational areas, except one... An Anthropologist and the many texted used during the mid-sixties and I am sure much early and to this day are LIES from the PIT of HELL...
Evil-lution is a LIE from the PIT and anyone that defends it I believe are deceived and thus they use deceit and mischief means to convince others and thus their curse of the millstone! Luke 17:2 & Matthew 18:6 & Mark 9:42
Anyway, I just wanted to share my personal thoughts and to let the children, parents, grandparents and great grandfather of which I am one to keep the faith, trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, Who is the Lord of lords and King of kings; lean not to your understanding and continue studying His Word and He will see you through till your last breath.

Without actually doing a Carbon-14 dating on any fossil, just finding Carbon-14 present in any fossil, or dinosaur bones, or any diamond, or anything, proves those items are not MILLIONS of years old, because of the 5700 year half-life on Carbon-14. The oldest anything can possibly be if Carbon-14 is present, is a maximum of 60,000 yrs. old.
I repeat, everything ever tested for the presence of Carbon-14, whether it's coal, oil, fossils, dinosaur bones, diamonds, etc., shows that Carbon-14 is present and therefore, those items can't be 100's of MILLIONS or BILLIONS of years old. Real science debunks evolution!!
To Cosmico...
I know that... and if I had the guts to do it, I wouldn't pay my taxes, because they go towards abortions and the teaching of the evolution myth in schools.
To CrimsonFloyd...
I'm talking about testing for ONLY the PRESENCE of C-14, not dating items. The PRESENCE of C-14 alone proves diamonds, fossils, coal, oil, dinosaur bones, etc., are NOT millions or billions of years old. There should NOT be any C-14 in anything that is millions or billions of yrs. old, yet, diamonds, fossils, dino bones, oil, coal, etc., to have the presence of C-14 in them, PROVING that they are THOUSANDS of yrs. old, not MILLIONS and BILLIONS of yrs. old. Evolutionary dating methods are HOAXES, where MILLIONS and BILLIONS of yrs. are assumed and used during the dating process. Most of the time, dating methods aren't even used, because they date fossils by what rocks they're found in, and date rocks by what fossils are found in them... ah... circular reasoning... imagine that!
Sorry folks, for going through all that repeatedly, but English just doesn't seem to be the first language of some evolutionists.

Please learn your science or at least print the whole article when you Google Carbon 14. Carbon 14 is only one dating method. Rubidium has a half life of 49 billion years and is also looked for when dating items. So REAL science proves evolution is a fact.

Just look at the grand canyon... I have, in person. Looks a heck of a lot older than 6,000 years, all those layers going way down. I can't believe all that erosion happened in only 6,000 years. And other places I've seen...the hardness of the rocks and the erosion going on. No. I don't believe it. RE: evolution. I asked an Eastern Orthodox priest what he believed. He said something to the effect. We believe in evolution-- only, God had a hand in evolution. I asked him if he believed the Big Bang happened. He said he did, and God caused it. As a joke, I asked him if I could use a handgun to kill an intruder who was threatening my wife. I don't know what possessed me to ask that. I guess I wanted to elicit a shock and expect a "Thou shall not kill.", response. He said, he'd hoped I would to save my wife-- to kill the intruder. In my scenerio the intruder had a knife to my wife's throat and was saying, "I'm going to kill her!!". Wow. Where do I sign up for conversion?

This asshole uses a "2+2=5 bc I say so" justification for his theories and beliefs. He uses exactly that to justify his supposed psychic and clairvoyant abilities, since, as he literally says that he knows what God thinks, wants, believes, does, supports, loves, and hates. The WBC does the same fuckin' thing. Osama Bin Laden does the same fuckin' thing! All religious fundamentalism does that and that is why he, like the rest of the fundamentalists, in particularly the religious fundamentalists the world over, is an ignorant and arrogant fool!
I believe in God, too. And I'm a Christian but, anyone who says that they have all the answers and knows the truth is securing for themselves a place in Hell.
Fuck you too, Kent!!

Avoid addressing any actual scientific debate, don't examine any evidence, misrepresent what you oppose, dismiss the opposing viewpoint, and belittle those that refuse to accept your narrow minded, head-in-the-sand dogma.
Sad, so very sad that this kind of ignorance still lurks in these more enlightened times.

Subject: "I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member."
Rational decision making is necessary for having a productive existence. When zealots brand that necessity as deserving of demonization, they promote an unavoidable conflict, and they do so not as much to do the work of Heaven as they do to improve their own situation here on Earth. They do so by convincing believers to give them their time, energy, and money so it can supposedly be invested with those "at the Top". Ironically, Hovind and his ilk get mortal rewards upfront for their efforts while those who they've put on the spiritual path have to wait until the end of their journey to see if their investment has paid the returns promised. Conveniently, no one ever comes back to complain. This arrangement is in essence not much different than highwaymen extorting a toll from unsuspecting travelers.
The need for conflict is what so many find objectionable about people like Hovind. By making a living from the conflict they create, they make the world a less harmonious place - quite the opposite from the mission they claim to pursue. Rational people would never be so arrogant as to claim to possess the knowledge Hovind does, and the only way to decrease the conflict that such claims create is for all of us to ignore those that make them. Unfortunately for zealots, being ignored is like being fired. It only causes them to redouble their efforts until someone somewhere will battle with them. Conflict is their way of staying gainfully employed - and that's why promoting a religion creates such misery for the world. It's also why many of us would simply rather have the peace on earth they promise by getting the theologically driven to see the wisdom of keeping all their religious dogma to themselves.
For these reason, there's no point in debating the content of this video, unless I want to add to the misery it creates. As a cultural artifact, however, I'm glad this film is here in the archive, just as I'm glad that examples of war and prejudice are similarly preserved so we don't forget the lessons they teach.
If Hovind would truly like to see the coming of Heaven on Earth described by the scriptures that he clings to so tenaciously, there's no better way to hasten that arrival than for him to shut the H*** up. I offer that advice not just for my own benefit but for Hovind's as well - for someone who appears to get a kick out of playing god as much as he seems to, I wouldn't want him to miss the opportunity to feel what it would be like to be able to bestow a blessing on all mankind.
I give this video 1 star rather than none so that I can register my low opinion of it rather than having a "no star" be mistaken for indifference.

Subject: This man needs to be smacked in the face with a biology book and then be forced to read it
Painful, completely painful to hear this christian fundamentalist attempt to belittle the entire scientific community, logic, free thinking etc. I feel really bad for the students that he taught in his science class, terrible. Putting all your faith into the literal word of the bible as the basis for your entire reality truly is faith, blind faith. Unfortunately, there’s that nagging and probably very annoying fact for religious zelouts and fundamentalists like this dude, that there is something called reality. Here in reality, humans have observed with the aid of all the sciences (chemistry, genetics, biology, ecology, physics, geology, etc.) over the past couple of thousand years, especially in the two centuries, that the earth is not flat…amazing right! Also, it’s not the center of the universe, and remember how the catholic church treated that reality…a heavily reoccurring theme. Come on people! the bible was written by humans and passed down through the works, hand written by scribes from civilization to civilization, generation to generation. You honestly think every word from it’s original sources remained the same. It’s so silly, I mean really. You don’t believe in DNA and stars too? We share about 98% of our genome with chimps, there are thousands of transitional fossils (really don’t just deny, go look on an .gov or .edu site and find out about the wealth of transitional fossils there are, I always here creationists say there’s no transitional fossils, again basing arguments on beliefs and emotion not logic and reality). Evolution is displayed in labs in petri dishes, watching generations of bacteria evolve and change, studying their evolving genome. Just like how staff infections bounce back with immunities to the old antibiotics. Just like with pesticides, there is always a small segements of a population that will have a natural immunity to the pesticide or antibiotic and when it is administered it kills the ones that do not have the natural immunities and increased resistances. They are left to re-populate their local population, which carry the genes of the immunity, making the next generations resistant to the antibiotics or pesticides… this is clearly observed in hospitals and agriculture, and that is fucking EVOLUTION. He says evolution is just a theory. If you understood science you would no some things can just never be a fact because they are completely tangible and measurable, or not yet as in evolutions case since we’ve only understood it for such a short time and to observe from a macro-view will be science over the next few thousand years. But more importantly do you believe in gravity? It’s silly to even ask right? Guess what, it is also JUST A THEORY. Believing the earth is 6,000 years old is ridiculous, its choosing to defy the data collected and observed by every scientific field from every country and practically every scientists (93% of all scientists are secular accept evolution as a reality). \ it’s just so annoying to hear this, because it’s the same religious and greedy personalities that are going to destroy to beauty of all life on earth. From day one with all the wars, and essentially all being spawned by religion and/or greed, to now with the never ending overpopulation of us with our waste, pollution, and consumption. It’s the same personalities that support this shit, supporting imperialism, raping of natural resources, you christian conservative republicans, and all you greedy people, and any religious fundamentalists need to fuck off because the people of your personalities and life style choices have been the shitty side of humanity since day one and if we don’t stop with the Iraqs and Afghanistans, and “drill baby drill” we are fucked. The natural world is so much better and I feel so much more superior than man kind, we are an insignificant blink and reality, nothing happens when you die, there is no god, the story of jesus was ripped off by the Egyptians. Read a fucking science book christian conservatism is wrong, and a horrible detriment to the progression of humanity from a sociological standpoint, and if it were their way we will drill till we’re dead. You can’t have an atmosphere without trees, you can’t have HD Tvs or and economy or civilization with out the sustainability of the natural world. You don’t deserve and voice in the debate about anything anymore, your tired “logic” “ethic” and “morality” is hypocritical, self-riotous, and illogical. It’s not just Christianity, it’s religion and greed and the diffidence of reality the is a detriment to humanity and the world, which is 4.6 billon years old, not 6,000 (this guy probably taught Sarah Palin lol science).

If you accept the bible as the word of an intervening and attentive deity, a god, you have stepped out of the rational world and into the stunted realm of ignorance and denial.
If you find religiously obfuscated histories of mythical prophets and their magical adventures as reassurance that your life is worth living, and there is a big prize after you shrivel,I applaud you, only for your tenacity at disregarding the wealth of knowledge and wisdom available anyyone willing to open their mind.
Hovind, and his ilk, have assembled their creation fiction especially for you, knowing full well most of you lack the intellectual moxie to question their shpeel, and of course, they are right about that.
Those of you who do, like Spike, go right back to the trough, i.e. the Discovery Institute, for more misinformation -- don't dig into on your own, just follow your leaders -- because you can't do anything else.
You believe what you want because you don't ever question that 'faith' of yours. You don't question it because, you don't dare risk knowing there is an excellent alternative to your bible madness. That mangled collection of contradiction and error, assembled through the darkest ages of this community of mankind, long after the events, if they ever did take place, is your personal devil -- without it, you control your spirit, you control your soul.
To take a book, written and rewritten over a thousand years as the word of a cosmic creator who hasn't been seen since, isn't only preposterous, it's insane.
Hovind proselytizes because he is either loony or love the money.

To take a book, written and rewritten over a thousand years as the word of a cosmic creator who hasn't been seen since, isn't only preposterous, it's insane.
Hovind proselytizes because he is either loony or love the money.

Givens03, It is amazing how ignorance and arrogance go hand in hand. What, but human arrogance can explain trying to enlighten others from garbage you picked up watching “The DaVinci Code”, a fictional novel, whose author claims it is mostly based on fact, but who couldn’t even get Gnostic beliefs right, let along Christian.
Ignorant statement #1
>Creationism or the Christian faith was born out of the embers of an Empire which was almost continually at war.
Creationism began with Genesis, about 6000 AD. Christianity began 30 AD.
> The Emperor Constantine having to deal with a growing population of monotheistic believers had to find a way to handle this in a polytheistic society. Constantine gathered 800 bishops of the Christian faith and put the bible together from ancient scrolls.
No. The Christian faith was written by eyewitnesses, with the latest book being written about 90 AD.
> Not all that was written about Jesus was placed into the bible. Every scripture that described Jesus as having human like traits and actions were discarded.
Hmm, such Jesus asking to be spared from necessary fate ? Nothing human in that. (Matthew 26:42) Or how about John 11:35, “Jesus wept”? Or Matthew 21:19, where Jesus was angry that the fig tree had no fruit, he cursed it in his anger?
>Those who created the bible, which was around 200 years after his death, used the contents of that which they accepted to their own needs of the church.
OK, so we know nothing of biblical archeology.
>The Bible was created to control a growing population of the Roman Empire.
So why did the Romans have a habit of persecuting and killing Christians? Why were all but one of the disciples killed for their beliefs?
>The Catholic Church has struggled a long time to maintain control of its faith. They placed Galileo on a permanent house arrest and were told he would be executed if he continued his research.
Galileo had been advocating Copernican heliocentric theory since 1610, without a hitch. It was in 1633 that he got himself in trouble by painting Pope Urban VIII as an idiot (Simplicio) in his work, “Concerning The Two Chief World Systems.” It was Galileo’s human arrogance, not his scientific nature that got him in trouble with the church.
The rest of your diatribe exhibits the same lack of respect for historical accuracy, spiced with a tinge of humanist paranoia, ala “The church has caused so much suffering...” without noting that it was the church which sought to advance science and art, not repress it.
True, opportunists (including religious leaders) have sought to exploit the church and it’s believers for personal gain, but that is a human failing, not a religious one.
Archeology and other recordings of history continue to prove the bible correct. But if you don’t want to see it, as you obviously don’t, you never will.
> I have degrees in History and Geology
Yay! But the true sign of intelligence is openness to new facts and data, recognizing "the more you learn, how little you know."
I close with this point:
The Discovery Institute says a group of Darwinists who are opposing efforts by the Texas State Board of Education to allow evolution to be debated in the classroom are clinging to 19th century science in the 21st century.
The group, which refers to itself as the 21st Century Science Coalition, opposes the teaching of scientific evidence that shows the weakness of prevailing evolutionary theory. They claim that teaching such scientific evidence would pave the way to the eventual teaching of religious ideas such as creationism.
Casey Luskin with the Discovery Institute says despite the group's name, they are in fact clinging to outdated 19th century science.
"What [the group is] trying to imply, and what it wants to have taught in the classroom, is that evolution is an uncontroversial fact that is absolutely, 100 percent proven to be true and that there are no scientists who dissent from it," Luskin explains. "And they want students to basically not learn about any views that might have scientific dissent from modern neo-Darwinian theory."
There is plenty of scientific evidence, according to Luskin, that questions leading evolutionary theory. He adds that one of the ways that Darwinists try to insulate their theories from criticisms is to relabel any criticisms as religious attack.
"But that is absolutely a false relabeling. In fact, there are over 700 scientists who dissent from neo-Darwinian evolution and have signed a statement of dissent that's on a list that can be found at DissentFromDarwin.org," Luskin points out. "And there are a large number of peer-reviewed, scientific articles that have come out in the last 10, 20, 30 years that challenge various key aspects of neo-Darwinian theory."
Luskin says teachers should be able to freely teach the scientific evidence for and against evolution.
The nature of science is to adapt scientific theory as new data arises, in this case, new data about old topics. It would behoove you to do the same.

Hmm. I believe that everything came from nothing. I personally see nothing blow up all the time. oops there it went again. And I had to close the window in my house so my children don't fly away due to standard constant random mutation. Oh and I see all of those transitional species in the foscil record. And I believe in the Easter bunny. Wow. looks like we need a new theory.

Subject: Wake up, it's the 21st century
It's very sad that otherwise well meaning Christians have frequently been taken in by a fraud like Kent Hovind. His video is not only overflowing with false claims, nonsense and just plain old snake oil, his 19th century brand of creationism is bad theology as well.
Let me give you a quote from the Christian scholar Saint Augustine in "The Literal Meaning of Genesis (De Genesi ad litteram libri duodecim) written centuries ago:
"Usually, even a non-Christian knows something about the earth, the heavens, and the other elements of this world, about the motion and orbit of the stars and even their size and relative positions, about the predictable eclipses of the sun and moon, the cycles of the years and the seasons, about the kinds of animals, shrubs, stones, and so forth, and this knowledge he hold to as being certain from reason and experience. Now, it is a disgraceful and dangerous thing for an infidel to hear a Christian, presumably giving the meaning of Holy Scripture, talking nonsense on these topics; and we should take all means to prevent such an embarrassing situation, in which people show up vast ignorance in a Christian and laugh it to scorn. The shame is not so much that an ignorant individual is derided, but that people outside the household of faith think our sacred writers held such opinions, and, to the great loss of those for whose salvation we toil, the writers of our Scripture are criticized and rejected as unlearned men. If they find a Christian mistaken in a field which they themselves know well and hear him maintaining his foolish opinions about our books, how are they going to believe those books in matters concerning the resurrection of the dead, the hope of eternal life, and the kingdom of heaven, when they think their pages are full of falsehoods and on facts which they themselves have learnt from experience and the light of reason? Reckless and incompetent expounders of Holy Scripture bring untold trouble and sorrow on their wiser brethren when they are caught in one of their mischievous false opinions and are taken to task by those who are not bound by the authority of our sacred books. For then, to defend their utterly foolish and obviously untrue statements, they will try to call upon Holy Scripture for proof and even recite from memory many passages which they think support their position, although they understand neither what they say nor the things about which they make assertion."

Creationism, mans greatest lie
Creationism or the Christian faith was born out of the embers of an Empire which was almost continually at war. The Emperor Constantine having to deal with a growing population of monotheistic believers had to find a way to handle this in a polytheistic society. Constantine gathered 800 bishops of the Christian faith and put the bible together from ancient scrolls. Not all that was written about Jesus was placed into the bible. Every scripture that described Jesus as having human like traits and actions were discarded. Only those that placed Jesus in a divine manner were accepted. Those who created the bible, which was around 200 years after his death, used the contents of that which they accepted to their own needs of the church. The Bible was created to control a growing population of the Roman Empire. The Catholic Church has struggled a long time to maintain control of its faith. They placed Galileo on a permanent house arrest and were told he would be executed if he continued his research. How is this, the will of God? Religion is simple to explain. It is a tool used by the religious faiths of this world, created to control a weak minded population. This would explain why the Catholic Church struggled for so long to keep its Bibles exclusively written in Latin. This enabled them to have an ignorant population for they also had purposely kept the same population illiterate. An ignorant population is an easily controllable population. The Bible was created by man who is inherently flawed and corrupted by personal gains and desires. How can one trust such a document that was written only after man could agree on what can be said of scrolls that were written long after the events had occurred.
The theory of evolution is constantly tested. With new technology this theory is gaining strength in the scientific community. 90% of scientists in this field must agree on a hypothesis in order for it to become a theory. One way this theory is explained is through paleontology and the ever increasing fossil record of the past 3.5 billion years( the oldest known fossils are Stromatalites which produced oxygen as a waste product. These can still be seen today in Shark Bay, Australia.) Creatures had to evolve into improved species (due to environmental changes) or go extinct. Those are the only alternatives. The Earth's history is not entirely intact in the geologic record, however we can piece together from one region and correlate it to another through sequence stratigraphy and begin to analysis the stratigraphic record and decipher the biozones in the sedimentary layers. Geology is based on rocks, fossils, and of sedimentary layers that can be observed and studied. These are facts and not the fabrications of what we know as the Christian faith.
Religion wants to control your thoughts, behavior, and the way in which you conduct your life. Science wants only of individuals to think for themselves and not to believe in everything one has read or heard. Test the ideas of others and conduct yourself in a professional manner with an unbiased attitude. As for the Bible, it is a good story with moral values but with no real substance to be taken word for word as the absolute truth of events and of the people that lived during those times.
I am not erasing 6000 years of history, of which is poorly recorded. I am just including a much larger picture of the history of Earth. The Grand Canyon is an excellent example of recorded geological history. Simply looking at fossils in rock layers and dating them according to the oxygen isotope ratios, geologists can interpret environmental conditions of that era. And as the environmental conditions change the species changes to adapt. This is very recorded. Pick up a fossil index book and it will not only describe the species, but it has pictures of real fossils that have been excavated. Humans have been on this Earth for so little time. We cannot ignore what has occurred before the advent of primates to Homo Sapiens. All mammals starting from the Triassic have certain characteristics that have been dominant for about 250 million years. One piece of evidence is a tooth structure common in all mammals. Before the Triassic period this unique tooth structure was not present. Dinosaurs had a peg like tooth structure. One of the earliest mammals was a small shrew like creature called Morganucondon. After the Dinos went extinct, mammals were able to diversify. In Wyoming primates thrived until the vegetation disappeared and they moved south toward the equator due to changes in the environment. In Africa primates did something else. They began to walk upright because of a lack of vegetation. Australopithecus, which is possibly an ancestor of Homo Sapiens, left foot prints in an ash layer near Laetolil in Africa. These prints show two adults walking side by side with a adolescent following behind stepping in one of these sets of prints. These foot prints are dated to be approximately 3.6 million years old. The oldest bones found of the genus Homo are dated to be approximately 2.4 million years old. Using various dating methods of thorium, uranium, carbon, oxygen isotopes and others, geologist have dated ash layers, glaciers and ice caps, fossilized fish and other marine animals, as well as fission track dating of apatite to be able to discern approximate dates of many things. This man knows nothing of geology or history of this Earth. To learn that he has been teaching science classes for 15 years is very scary. He gives not a shred of evidence to his speech. He continues to quote the bible, which is a flawed document. Geologically speaking the great flood did occur about the time he describes, but it is an isolated event. There is geological evidence of the Caspian Sea breaking its natural levies, but it only flooded the Middle East. There is no evidence of flooding in North America, Asia, Africa south of the Sahara, South America, Antarctica, Australia, or Northern Europe. At that time most humans who recorded history lived in the middle East, ergo they thought the whole Earth must have been flooded. Humans have this belief that anything that cannot be easily explained must have been the work of God. How convenient that must be. Especially thousands of years ago when their understanding of the ever changing Earth could not be explained due to their lack of technology. Evolution is not a religion, faith or belief. It is a scientific theory which must stand the test of time by scientists studying this field. Being an Atheist is not a belief, religion, or faith. It means one who denies the existence of a God. Be aware of the meanings of words before you use them or you will sound ignorant.
Human history is a lot older than 6000 years. I have degrees in History and Geology. To study geology is to study Earth's history. Humans can lie, mislead, and write what ever suits them, however the Earth cannot lie about its past.
Ignorance must be bliss.

Subject: Your atheistic bias...
You commented on the video description, not the video.
Also, I doubt that you ever studied the Bible to even know where it would give the idea the Earth and its life was created about 6000 years ago (which is true). How about giving an example of where Hovind is wrong, and evolution is right?
Let's see... the Big Bang (fiction), primordial soup (fiction), transitionals in the fossil record (fiction), transitionals that are alive in nature (fiction). It takes more faith to believe in the almighty Nothing that created everything, than it does to believe in an eternal, all intelligent Creator/God.
You enjoy your atheistic religion, I'll enjoy reality.
By the way, the Cell Theory and the Law of Biogenesis goes against evolution... not Biblical creation. Also, the fossil record fits perfectly with the Genesis Flood... not evolution.

I honestly love this guy because he makes so little sense. His arguments are irrational, and grounded upon no basis of fact other than the Bible, which is not a exactly a reliable source in order to prove that the earth is 6,000 years old. Anyone that actually knows anything about what he is contradicting knows that he is being truly rediculous.
