One of Martin Luther's primary points during the Reformation is that we can't be saved by what we do, but only by grace through faith in Jesus. The church today needs to get back to this principle. Most people believe they'll be saved because they're good people. But as we see in Philippians 3, our accomplishments and our background mean nothing when it comes to salvation.
