Notes

It's been a while since any new Kristin Hersh recordings have popped up so here's an older solo show recorded at the missed-but-not-forgotten Tune Inn here in New Haven (interesting historical note: the building it was formerly housed in was one of the ones that burned in a fire the local TV news called "The Elm City Inferno"). Specifically, this show took place in the bar area (aka "The Lounge") rather than the full performance space. Kristin had spent several months prior to this November run of shows in the Northeast recording what became 2001's Sunny Border Blue album so this includes some pre-release performance of songs from that record.

If you like what you hear, please consider donating a little money to the kristinhersh.com tip jar. Kristin has been kind enough to allow for live recordings of her shows to be freely traded, so do her a favor in return!

"Bea" is cut due to running out of disc space. I guess I thought I had a 80 minute blank, but it was just a 74 minute one.

The encore appears to have been recorded at a much lower level, so I applied some judicious compression and amplification to bring it up to a comparable volume to the main set. The main set is uneditted.
