Living CultureL C Episode 61.2

Would you like to try our new video/audio player ? (beta!)

Living Culture talks with community garden coordinator Jordan Blake and Marion-Polk Food Share volunteers, as they plant pepper seeds for area gardens. Working with composted potting-soil donated by Marion County, the group of about 10 volunteers fill small containers to house the growing seeds. Over the next few months, the seeds will be given water, sunshine, and plenty of warmth while staying in the greenhouse at Pringle Creek in Salem, Oregon.

Living Culture is a monthly television series that showcases cuisine and agriculture in the Pacific Northwest. Our mission is to generate interest in local foods through inspiring and positive media.
